FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board
IN RE:
HB4064 by White, James (Relating to restrictions applicable to young hunters of white-tailed deer during a special open season.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code relating to two-day weekend youth seasons for hunting of white-tailed deer. The bill would suspend any special restrictions on the inside spread measurement of antlers if such a youth season is offered and would establish a bag limit of one white-tailed deer per hunter.
Based on information provided by the Parks and Wildlife department, this analysis assumes the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
