The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of barber schools and beauty culture schools; amending provisions subject to a criminal penalty. Based on the analysis of the Department of Licensing and Regulation, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Comptroller of Public Accounts, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
