No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code as it relates to service plans and placements for children under the care of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). DFPS does not anticipate any significant fiscal impacts as a result of complying with the provisions of the bill. The Office of Court Administration indicates the bill could be implemented within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
