No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated
The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code as it relates to the certification of alcohol awareness programs required for minors convicted of or receiving deferred disposition for certain offenses as specified in the bill. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Texas Education Agency, and Department of State Health Services have determined the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State. The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in each house, otherwise the bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
