No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Finance and Government Code relating to credit services organizations and extensions of consumer credit facilitated by credit service organizations; providing civil and administrative penalties.  Based on information provided by the Comptroller of Public Accounts, Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending, Department of Banking, and Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
