No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government, Health and Safety, and Human Resources Codes to abolish certain health-related task forces and advisory committees. The Health and Human Services Commission indicated that implementation of the bill would result in a small savings due to a slight reduction in work hours across all health and human services agencies, but there would not be any significant fiscal impact to the State. The Sunset Commission and the Comptroller of Public Accounts indicated that there would be no significant fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
