No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the State Board of Educator Certification to adopt rules to allow educators to receive continuing education credit for instruction on the use of automated external defibrillators.

The Texas Education Agency indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
