No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would change the qualifications for the composition of the Water Development Board. One of the Board members would require experience in production agriculture. The bill would require the Board to reflect the diverse geographic regions and population groups, and one member would have to reside in a rural area and be a registered voter of a county with a population of less than 155,000.

There would be no fiscal impact to the Water Development Board as a result of the bill's passage.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
