No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would make provisions relating to frivolous suits, attorney fees, consolidated suits and evidentiary burdens, among others. The Office of Court Administration indicates bill provisions are not anticipated to have a significant fiscal implication to the state court system. The Department of Family and Protective Services indicates the agency can implement bill provisions within its existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
