SB431 by Seliger (Relating to the deadline for filing a candidate's personal financial statement.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code to change the filing deadline of the required financial statement for a candidate for an office as an elected officer. The Ethics Commission indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed with the agency's existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
