No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require county clerks to keep an index of correction instruments relating to real property. The index must contain the names of the grantors and grantees as stated in the correction instrument.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
