The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the dispensing of aesthetic pharmaceuticals by physicians and therapeutic optometrists; imposing fees. The Texas Optometry Board, Texas Medical Board, and the Comptroller of Public Accounts indicate that any costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed utilizing current resources.
