LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

May 1, 2015

TO:
Honorable Susan Lewis King, Chair, House Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs

FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
SB660 by Rodríguez (Relating to regional coordinators within the veteran entrepreneur program.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code to establish regional coordinators within the veteran entrepreneur program at the Texas Veterans Commission.  The Texas Veterans Commission anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.  The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in each house.  Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2015.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
