FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
SB779 by Huffman (Relating to the access to certain medical test results by a grand jury.), As Introduced

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to indicate that certain medical test results would not be subject to any subpoena with the exception of a grand jury subpoena. The Department of State Health Services indicates it could absorb the costs associated with implementation of the bill within its current resources.
