IN RE:
SB810 by Seliger (Relating to the authority of an independent school district to contract with a municipality for the design, improvement, or construction of an instructional facility, stadium, or other athletic facility.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow a school district to enter into a written agreement with the municipality in which it is located to contribute resources to pay a portion of the costs of the design, improvement, or construction of certain facilities owned by, on the property of, or under the control of the municipality.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. Any administrative costs related to these provisions would be voluntary for the participating school district.

There may be a positive fiscal impact to municipalities; however impact will vary depending on the amount of  resources contributed by a school district.
