The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of medical radiologic technology; providing an administrative penalty; imposing fees; requiring an occupational license. According to information provided by the Texas Medical Board, the State Office of Administrative Hearings, the Heath and Human Services Commission, the Department of State Health Services and Comptroller of Public Accounts, any costs associated with implementation of the provisions of this bill could be absorbed utilizing current resources.
