SB917 by Seliger (Relating to the applicability of the Texas Mass Gatherings Act to certain horse and greyhound races.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to apply the requirements of Mass Gatherings, Chapter 751, Health and Safety Code to horse and greyhound races that attract or are expected to attract at least 100 persons.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, the fiscal impact to counties is not anticipated to be significant.
