No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the authority of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to determine applicant eligibility for a license and to discipline license holders. Based on the analysis of the TDLR and the Office of the Governor, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
