SB1330 by Campbell (Relating to injury leave for certain peace officers.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to make peace officers employed by the Office of the Attorney General eligible for paid injury leave. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
The Office of the Attorney General and the Employment Retirement System indicated the costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
