SB1337 by Perry (Relating to the authority of the Texas Water Development Board to provide financial assistance to political subdivisions for water supply projects.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code to remove the state water plan consistency and water audit requirements for the following: Water Bond Insurance Program; Research and Planning Program; Financial Assistance for Water Pollution Control; and Program for Water and Wastewater Financial assistance for Disadvantaged Rural Communities. Review requirements for projects funded under Subchapter J associated with the safe drinking water revolving fund would still apply. 

The Water Development Board reports that the bill would require no significant changes to agency operations, policies, or procedures.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
