IN RE:	SB1702 by Huffman (Relating to the elimination of straight-party voting for judicial offices.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to eliminate straight party voting for judicial offices. The bill also would modify the ballot order and would create a new category of "Judicial Offices" which groups all judicial candidates together on the ballot.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
