No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Estates Code, Family Code, and Government Code related to certain suits affecting the parent-child relationship and authorizing electronic notarization of documents. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
The Office of the Attorney General and the Office of Court Administration indicated the costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
