SB1877 by Zaffirini (Relating to the development and maintenance by each state agency of a data use agreement for the state agency's employees and to training related to that agreement.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require each state agency to develop a data use agreement that is related to information security standards. This agreement would have to be updated at least every two years. Each agency employee would be required to sign the data use agreement. To the extent possible, each agency would be required to provide employees with cybersecurity awareness training.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
