No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to require a county to report and submit monthly certain information relating to persons with mental illness detained in a county jail to the Commission on Jail Standards. The bill would specify the reported information is not public information and is not subject to disclosure under Chapter 552.
