FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
SB2019 by Uresti (Relating to the composition of the Texas Violent Gang Task Force.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to update and expand the composition of the Texas Violent Gang Task Force. This analysis assumes any costs associated with the bill can be absorbed within existing appropriations. The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in each house, otherwise the bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
