SB1043 by Nichols (Relating to the regulation of motor vehicles by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and the Department of Public Safety; creating a criminal offense; providing a penalty; authorizing fees.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

As a result of this bill there will be a restriction upon the open records law and
the access to government information.

The bill would amend Section 552.144, Government Code to except from disclosure certain working papers and electronic communications of hearing examiners at the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.
