SB1940 by Huffman (Relating to contributions to, benefits from, and the administration of systems and programs administered by Teacher Retirement System of Texas.), As Introduced

The bill would amend Chapter 825 of the Government Code to make technical and clarifying changes relating to maintaining, reporting, and crediting of system assets, and transferring eligible rollover distributions. The bill would make other changes pertaining to the Insurance Code provisions for TRS.

The proposed bill, if enacted, would not have an actuarial effect on TRS because it does not propose to change the benefit structure, funding, or obligations of the public retirement system.
