Pursuant to a notice posted on February 17, 2015, and permission granted on February 23, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Appropriations - S/C on Article III met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Ashby, at 7:34 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Ashby; Giddings; Howard; Márquez; Phelan; and Raney.

A quorum was present.
