Pursuant to a notice posted on February 11, 2015, the House Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on ARTICLE III, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Ashby, at 7:33 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Ashby; Giddings; Howard; Márquez; Phelan; Raney; and VanDeaver.

A quorum was present.

At 9:43 a.m., on the motion of Representative Ashby and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 1:00 p.m., February 17, 2015.
