Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 18, 2015, and permission granted on May 18, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Coleman, at 2:11 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Farias; Burrows; Romero, Jr.; Schubert; Spitzer; and Wu.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 1888

 

The chair laid out SB 1888 as pending business.

 

Representative Farias offered an amendment to the measure.

 

The amendment was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Farias moved that SB 1888, as amended, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Coleman; Farias; Burrows; Romero, Jr.; Schubert; Spitzer; Wu (7).

Representative Burrows moved that SCR 39, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
