Pursuant to a notice posted on March 3, 2016, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Herrero, at 1:37 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Herrero; Moody; Canales; Hunter; Shaheen; and Simpson.

A quorum was present.

The Chair delivered opening remarks and opened up discussion for the posted agenda.

Interim Charge 4

The chair brought up interim charge 4, relating to indigent defense and innocence projects.

At 4:18 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
