Pursuant to a notice posted on February 18, 2016, the House Select Committee on Emerging Issues In Texas Law Enforcement met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Fletcher, at 9:19 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Fletcher; Flynn; Koop; Martinez, "Mando;" and White, James.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

Charge 1

 

The Chair read interim charge 1 to the committee and made opening remarks.

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 10:04 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
