Pursuant to a notice posted on March 16, 2015, and permission granted on March 23, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Darby, at 3:16 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Darby; Paddie; Anchia; Canales; Craddick; Dale; Herrero; King, Phil; Landgraf; and Meyer.

The chair laid out HB 497 as pending business.

Representative Paddie moved that HB 497, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
