Pursuant to a notice posted on January 12, 2016, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Darby, at 11:09 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Darby; Paddie; Anchia; Craddick; Dale; Keffer; King, Phil; Landgraf; and Meyer.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

Testimony taken/registration recorded on the economic impact of the declining price of oil and natural gas.  (See attached witness list.)

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded on increasing penalties for oil and gas theft.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 1:38 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
