Pursuant to a notice posted on May 15, 2015, the House Committee on General Investigating & Ethics met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kuempel, at 4:45 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Kuempel; Collier; Davis, Sarah; Larson; Moody; and Turner, Chris.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1437.

 

The chair recognized Representative Davis, Sarah to explain SB 1437.

 

The chair recognized Representative Davis, Sarah to close on SB 1437.

 

Representative Larson moved that SB 1437, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Kuempel; Collier; Davis, Sarah; Larson; Moody; Turner, Chris (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Hunter (1).

 

At 4:47 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
