CORRECTED MINUTES

On April 8, 2015, the House Committee on Higher Education authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Higher Education held on April 1, 2015. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 1, 2015, and permission granted on April 1, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Zerwas, at 3:52 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Zerwas; Howard; Crownover; Martinez, "Mando"; Morrison; Raney; and Turner, Chris.

A quorum was present.

HB 671

The chair laid out HB 671 as pending business.

Representative Raney offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Raney moved that HB 671, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
