Pursuant to a notice posted on February 20, 2015, the House Committee on Insurance met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Frullo, at 2:03 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Frullo; Bonnen, Greg; Guerra; Meyer; Paul; Sheets; Vo; and Workman.

A quorum was present.

(Representative Muñoz, Jr. now present.)

(Representative Thompson, Ed now present.)

The committee met for organizational purposes and to hear invited testimony from the Texas Department of Insurance, Health and Human Services Commission, Office of Public Insurance Counsel, Workers’ Compensation Division, Texas Windstorm Insurance Association, and Texas Public Finance Authority.

At 5:00 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
