Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 21, 2015, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at 4:14 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Smithee; Farrar; Clardy; Hernandez; Laubenberg; Schofield; Sheets; and Thompson, Senfronia.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 1025

 

The chair laid out SB 1025, the companion to HB 2774.

 

The chair moved that SB 1025, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

SB 2068

 

The chair laid out SB 2068, the companion to HB 4199.

 

Representative Thompson, Senfronia offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Thompson, Senfronia moved that SB 2068, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
