Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 5, 2015, and permission granted on May 5, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, Senfronia, at 3:02 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson, Senfronia; Clardy; Burkett; Capriglione; Dale; Gonzales, Larry; Isaac; Nevárez; Sheets; and Springer.
A quorum was present.
Representative Clardy moved that the following measures not be placed on the calendar at this time: HB 1017, HB 1303. The motion prevailed without objection.
Representative Clardy moved that the floor amendments to HB 1436 offered by Representative Smithee, HB 2407 offered by Representative Doug Miller and HB 2644 offered by Representative Tracy King be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Friday, May 8, 2015. The motion prevailed without objection.
