Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 11, 2015, and permission granted on May 11, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, Senfronia, at 1:47 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson, Senfronia; Burkett; Capriglione; Dale; Gonzales, Larry; Gutierrez; Isaac; Muñoz, Jr.; Nevárez; and Sheets.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

Representative Sheets moved that the floor amendments to HB 1559 offered by Representative Springer and HB 2550 offered by Representative Thompson, Senfronia be approved to be offered during consideration of the Addendum-Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Tuesday, May 12, 2015.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Gutierrez moved that the following measures not be placed on the calendar at this time:  HB 3300, HB 4098.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Gutierrez moved that the following measures be transferred over to the House Calendars Committee: HB 3678, HB 3891, SB 807.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Pursuant to the suspension of all necessary rules and unanimous consent granted from the House floor on Monday, May 11, 2015, Representative Sheets moved to place the following measures on the Addendum-Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Tuesday, May 12, 2015:  HB 451, HB 1005, HB 1559, HB 1783, HB 1995, HB 2282, HB 2550, HB 2723, HB 2772, HB 2974, HB 3319, HB 3364, HB 3390, HB 3467, HB 3595, HB 3615, HB 3796, HB 3888, HB 4175, HCR 85.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
