Pursuant to a notice posted on February 11, 2015, the House Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Aycock, at 2:06 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Aycock; Allen; Bohac; Dutton; Farney; Galindo; González, Mary; Huberty; and VanDeaver.

A quorum was present.

The chair named the following members to the subcommittee on Educator Quality: Representative Huberty, Chair; Representatives Deshotel; Dutton; Farney; and VanDeaver.

(Representative King, Ken now present.)

The chair called for invited testimony on issues related to public education.

At 5:05 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
