Pursuant to a notice posted on February 26, 2015, and permission granted on March 3, 2015, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Public Education, Subcommittee on Educator Quality, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Huberty, at 2:32 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Huberty; Deshotel; Farney; and VanDeaver.

A quorum was present.

The chair called for invited testimony on issues related to educator quality.
