Pursuant to a notice posted on May 14, 2015, the House Committee on Public Health met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Crownover, at 8:06 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Crownover; Naishtat; Blanco; Coleman; Miller, Rick; Sheffield; Zedler; and Zerwas.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 1899

 

The chair laid out SB 1899, the companion to HB 2020.

 

Representative Naishtat moved that SB 1899, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
