Pursuant to a notice posted on February 10, 2015, the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phillips, at 8:04 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Phillips; Nevárez; Burns; Dale; Johnson; Metcalf; Moody; White, Molly; and Wray.

At 9:44 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 1:30 p.m., February 17, 2015.

The committee reconvened at 1:32 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phillips.
