Pursuant to a notice posted on September 7, 2016, the House Committee on State Real Property Data Collect, Report & Assess, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Simmons, at 1:05 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Simmons; Capriglione; Israel; and Thompson, Ed.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

 

The House Select Committee on State Real Property Data Collection, Reporting & Assessment met jointly with the Senate Select Committee on State Real Property Data Collection, Reporting & Assessment to receive an update from agencies on the status of the report on the statewide strategy, pursuant to HB 3750, that will ensure all real property owned by the state is properly insured.

 

The Chair, Representative Ron Simmons, gave opening remarks.

 

The committee heard invited testimony on the following issues:

 

Update from agencies on the status of the report on the statewide strategy, pursuant to HB 3750, that will ensure all real property owned by the state is properly insured.

 

Potential benefits of maintaining a comprehensive database of all real property owned by the state.

At 2:25 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
