Pursuant to a notice posted on September 14, 2016, the House Committee on Transportation, Subcommittee on Contraflow Lanes and Gross Weight Allowances , met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Martinez, "Mando", at 1:10 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Martinez, "Mando”, Representative Paddie, Representative Minjarez. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The committee heard testimony regarding emergency response to natural disasters, specifically contraflow lane plans for major routes.

 

(Representative Israel now present.)

 

A quorum is now present.

 

(Representative Burkett now present.)

 

The committee heard testimony regarding oversize and overweight truck corridors.

 

At 4:44 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
