Pursuant to a notice posted on January 6, 2016, the House Committee on Transportation Planning, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pickett, at 9:04 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Pickett; Martinez, "Mando"; Simmons; and Workman.

The Committee heard estimates from the Comptroller regarding both Proposition 1 and Proposition 7 funding for the upcoming year and the next biennium.

The Committee heard an update from the TxDOT working group on project selection criteria, rules and policies for project prioritization and selection, and  funding categories

The Committee heard testimony on what the latest Federal reauthorization bill means to Texas

At 11:15 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
