Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Finance was held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. The following business was transacted:

Senator Uresti moved to withdraw the committee substitute that was laid out at a previous hearing. There was no objection.

Senator Uresti sent up a new committee substitute; the chair recognized Senator Uresti to explain the difference between the committee substitute and the house bill as engrossed.

The bill was left pending.

There being no further business, at 9:39 AM Senator Juan Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
