Pursuant to suspension of Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Nominations was held on Monday, April 13, 2015, at Senator Birdwell's Desk.

The chair called the meeting to order at 4:20 p.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Senator Estes moved that the committee vote to approve the nomination of Charles Murray Barnard to be Judge of the 89th Judicial District Court, Wichita County. The motion carried with a record vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 1 absent. 

There being no further business, at 4:23 p.m., Senator Watson moved that the committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
