Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources & Economic Development Subcommittee was held on Thursday, April 16, 2015, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair laid out SB 208 and recognized the author, Senator Campbell, to explain the bill.

Senator Zaffirini sent up a committee substitute; the chair recognized Senator Campbell to explain the senate bill. Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.

 

At 10:22 AM Senator Estes moved that the Subcommittee stand recessed for session, to reconvene upon adjournment of the Senate. Without objection, it was so ordered.

 

At 3:51 PM the chair called the meeting to order. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Public testimony on SB 208 re-opened. The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered. After all witnesses had testified, the chair moved to leave SB 208 pending subject to the call of the chair. The Subcommittee recessed at 4:39 PM.
